When you open a PDF file with the SwifDoo PDF iOS app, a navigation bar with some handy tools appears on the top of the screen to help you move through your PDF efficiently.
Search: In a large PDF file containing many pages, you can search for keywords to quickly locate specific content.
Thumbnail: In the thumbnail view, you can add, rotate, delete, and rearrange pages.
TOC: This feature presents the table of contents of your PDF file so that you can navigate between different sections in a breeze. You can also see the bookmarks and annotations you’ve added here.
More: By taping the three-dot button, you will see more tools including Go to Page, Add Bookmark, View Settings, Print, and Share.
At the bottom of the screen, you can switch between Read and Annotate tools to handle various PDF tasks.
SwifDoo PDF for iOS is compatible with all iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch devices running the following operating systems:
Operating System: iOS/iPadOS 14.0 or higher
Open the App Store on your iOS/iPadOS device.
In the search bar, enter "SwifDoo PDF." Alternatively, you can visit the official website and navigate to the App Store page for SwifDoo PDF for iOS.
Find the SwifDoo PDF app and tap the “Get” button to download it.
Once the download is complete, tap “Install” and wait for the installation to finish.
After installation, you can find and open the app from your home screen.
Log In SwifDoo PDF unlocks the full features and gives you unlimited usage. To sign up for a SwifDoo PDF account, follow the steps shown here:
Method 1:
Launch SwifDoo PDF and tap the 'Setting' button at the bottom left.
Tap the "Log In" button, then enter your email address and password/verification code to complete the login process.
The account used for login is the same as the one for the official website.
Method 2:
Launch SwifDoo PDF and tap "Free Trial" at the top left to choose your plan options.
The app will automatically activate, so no code is needed.
SwifDoo PDF is fast to use after you Log In. If you don't Log in SwifDoo PDF account, you will have the following limitations:
1.Allows reading and auto-page turning, but does not support reflowing PDFs.
2 It not supports text-to-speech.
3.Does not allow conversion between PDF and other file formats.
4. Allows selection of compression quality but does not support direct compression.
5.Unable to set a password or use Face ID for app security.
SwifDoo PDF allows you to create PDFs from various file categories:
From File: Convert existing documents such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and text files into PDFs directly from your device’s storage.
From Photos: Create a PDF using images from your photo library by selecting one or multiple images and converting them into a single PDF document.
From Computer: Import files from your computer or cloud storage and create a PDF on your mobile device.
Create from Scan: Use your device’s camera to scan physical documents and compile them into a PDF, perfect for digitizing paper documents.
Create Blank: Start with a blank PDF document where you can add annotations, or drawings, giving you a versatile tool for custom document creation.
Tap the + icon in the bottom right corner to import a PDF file.
Tap the ... icon in the top right corner of the screen, then tap View Settings. This allows you to switch between vertical and horizontal views, as well as choose from multiple colors to change the document reading background. Once you’ve completed the view settings, return to the home screen.
There are three features: "Reflow", "Read", and "Auto Page". All of them will help improve your reading experience.
Reflow: This function will improve readability by adapting the PDF layout, font size, and spacing to fit your iPhone screen.
Read: This text-to-speech engine helps you transform text into audio and read a PDF aloud. You can change the reading speed and pitch if needed.
Auto Page: The feature automatically moves your PDF vertically, so you can view the content from the current view to the end without touching the screen.
SwifDoo PDF for iOS provides 10+ annotation tools to help you mark up text, add shapes, and take notes on PDF documents. You can change the color and other properties of the annotations anytime.
Text markup: You can use highlighter, strikethrough, underline, and squiggly line tools to mark up text.
Drawing tool: The pencil, marker pen, and eraser enable you to draw freely on a PDF file.
Comment: Typewriter and sticky note tools are excellent for adding comments to a PDF file.
Stamp: You can choose from a list of predefined stamps and create or upload your own PDF stamp.
Shape: Draw rectangles, lines, arrows, and ovals on PDF pages with ease.
Launch SwifDoo PDF on your iOS device. Locate the Tools tab at the bottom bar and tap it. This will take you to the conversion feature page.
Select the format you want to convert to, whether it's converting from PDF to Word, Excel, PPT, Image, DWG, DXF, or converting from Word, Excel, PPT, Image, or CAD to PDF.
Converting from PDF to Other Formats:
Choose the PDF document you want to convert from the "On this iPhone" section.
After the conversion is complete, a copy of the converted file will be generated and saved with the same name. The file will be located in Files > On this iPhone > Task.
Converting Other Formats to PDF:
From Image: Select one or more images from your device’s photo album (supports formats such as JPG, PNG, TIFF, BMP, etc.).
After selecting the images, an export option will appear: choose either "All images as one PDF" or "Each image as a PDF" based on your needs.
From Word, Excel, PPT, or CAD: Go to the Task section on your device, choose the file you want to convert, and tap to complete the conversion.
aunch the SwifDoo PDF on your iOS device.
Tap on the Tools tab at the bottom bar.
Find and tap on the Compress feature.
From the "On this iPhone" section, select the PDF file you want to compress.
After selecting the file, you will be taken to the compression quality options. You have three choices:
Less Quality, High Compression: Reduces the file size significantly with lower quality.
Medium Quality, Good Compression: Balances between file size and quality.
High Quality, Less Compression: Maintains higher quality with less reduction in file size.
Choose the desired quality level and tap Compress. it may take a few seconds, depending on the compression quality option and file size.
After compression, Tap to open the file to access the compressed PDF document.
Launch SwifDoo PDF on your iOS device.
Tap the Tools tab at the bottom bar.
Find and tap on the Merge feature.
From the " On this Phone " section, select the PDF files you want to merge. You can select multiple files to combine into a single PDF.
Tap Merge to combine the selected PDFs into one document. The process may take a few seconds, depending on the number and size of the files.
After merging, tap to open the file and access the newly created PDF document.
Launch SwifDoo PDF on your iOS device.
Tap the Tools tab at the bottom bar.
Find and tap on the Split feature.
From the "On this Phone" section, select the PDF file you want to split.
Choose how you want to split the PDF.
Custom Splitting: Define a page range or specify the number of pages for each split section.
Split by Number of Pages: Automatically divide the PDF into segments with a specified number of pages per segment.
Tap Split to divide the selected PDF according to your chosen settings. The process may take a few seconds, depending on the file size and split options.
After splitting, tap to open each resulting file to access the separated PDF documents.
